It’s been a bitterly cold winter this year, but my, my, hard to believe it’s almost March already, did I really hibernate for that long? Haha
It’s been a productive winter for Rosie! Not sure if it’s because of aging, but I’ve been so fatigued that all I want to do is just chill out whenever I can. Compared to last year when I tried to vlog/blog whenever I could, recently I’ve been much slower in terms of updating my creative channels. I’ve been trying to take things in stride and enjoy the process of reveling in and sorting out my own thoughts, it’s been a deeply rewarding journey. I’m less easily moved by other people’s opinions, which brings much needed clarity and peace. My faith has grown stronger as well since I’m not as preoccupied with various unnecessary distractions in this vastly confusing world. Slowly but surely, I’ve found my real voice and I’m hearing it ever more clearly with the passage of time.
Aside from my own meditations, I’ve also been avidly following the news and cheering, so many exciting revelations to follow along!
To start off with, I’d like to say: although I refuse to support Marvel’s latest release, but we gotta give Marvel some credit for the name, “Captain America: Brave New World” what a befitting title for the current times! ‘cept the Cap I’m thinking of is Trump! Haha, mad respect for the man, this Trump II MAGA era is really living up to a “Brave New World.” Trump’s new administration, especially all the cabinet members really embody the classic American traits I know and love: honesty, integrity, patriotism, good sense of humor and faith in God, their no BS attitude is soooo refreshing!
Ah, what a wonderful time to be alive, not only did I grow up with one of the best cinematic series of all time #Marvel-Cinematic-Universe-PhaseI-III, I also get to witness the real-life version of superheroes saving the world: #Trump-II-MAGA-era. Regardless of what other people may say, I’m a die-hard fan of this new administration XD
A small disclaimer: I’m not saying that I agree with absolutely EVERYTHING they say/do, but holistically, they really have the welfare of America in mind and they are taking much needed action to save this country. I’m truly grateful to them and support their efforts! May God bless all these courageous men and women! I really feel as if I’ve known America for a really, really long time and no matter how much time goes by, my love for this country remains unchanged.
It’s been so long since I last blogged, I feel as if I’m forgetting a lot of the content I wanted to cover. I always have so many ideas as I walk around and think of this or that, but as soon as I actually sit down to write, it’s as if all my mental notes hear the shotgun go off at the start of a relay race, swooosh! After the dust settles, there’s just little me sitting there at the starting line with messy windswept hair, spitting out sand and dust, watching helplessly with hands outstretched as they sprint off into the horizon…
Well, I guess I will just write more often since I can’t think of anything more to say at the moment, but before I go, I want to share a song with y’all, enjoy!
